Hand Blended Tea Range

Wine & Roses 100g

Wine & Roses is an extremely flavoursome and elegant herbal tea.  Made with handpicked, pesticide free rose petals, wild rosehips from Koonunga Hill, Barossa muscatels, cornflowers and local wax free lemon zest, this blend really shows off the edible beauty of the Barossa. Also gorgeous as an iced drink in Summer, with a natural sweetness that needs no added sugar. Or try it as a base for poaching fruit in - the resulting rubescent syrup is reason enough, let alone the flavour.

                                                                                                                                BUY

Barossa Breakfast 100g

Barossa Breakfast is made from the very best Darjeeling whole leaf tea blended with a fine flavoured whole leaf Ceylon. Darjeeling is often referred to as the ‘champagne’ of teas, and we all know that’s a breakfast drink, but it’s the natural muscatel flavour of this particular Darjeeling that gives a firm nod to the Barossa. A local take on the traditional ‘English Breakfast’, Barossa Breakfast can be served black or with added milk.

                                                                                                                                 BUY

We’re always playing with new blends in the Scullery, so the following teas are by no means our final offer on the subject, but merely what we currently have in stock.

If you would like a blend you can’t see here, or would like us to create a signature blend for you or your business, please let us know.

And if you’d like to know how best to enjoy your Scullery Made Tea, here are a few brewing tips...

Green Apples 100g

Green Apples is just as the name would suggest, a bright combination of Bancha green tea and dried apple pieces. For any green tea lover this blend will offer the tart sweetness of apple, not usually associated with Bancha, and for those yet to be convinced of how delicious green tea can be, this is a great starting point. Bancha is a ‘rounder’ green tea, that doesn’t have any of the bitterness that can sometimes sneak through with other green tea, especially if left to overbrew.

                                                                                                                                  BUY

Chamomile Citron 50g

Chamomile Citron is an extremely grown up herbal tea, with layers of citrus aromas that are the first thing you ‘taste’ when you brew a pot of this pretty blend. Perfect for anyone who loves lemon, this has locally grown lemon verbena and lemon balm, with lemongrass and whole chamomile flowers. A wonderful way to finish a meal or ease any over indulgence of the food and wine kind - but we don’t know anything about that in the Barossa!

                                                                                                                              BUY

The Orange Earl 100g

The Orange Earl is made from a superb whole leaf black tea that has been infused with bergamot oil - the classic Earl Grey. To this, the zest of homegrown Barossa oranges has been added to really boost the citrus flavour. With or without milk, this is the tea for all Earl Grey lovers who find their palate constantly asking for more citrus please.

                                                                                                                                 BUY

Chocolate Marmalade 100g

Chocolate tea is a truly marvellous thing. Oh. Yes. Add a nod to the Valley with locally grown orange zest and we're talking about a seriously unctuous blend. Whole black tea is hand blended with organic Mexican cacao and supersized chunks of carob, for a flavour that is pure chocolate without being too sweet. Enjoy with or without milk, and if your sweet-tooth is still crying out for more, a spoonful of honey.

                                                                                                                                  BUY

Rainwater Mint 50g

This herbal blend was inspired by all the farmhouse rainwater tanks that are surrounded with mint. Because we all know that's the best place for it. Such beautifully simple logic has encouraged a beautifully simple tea - all mint and nothing but mint! Whole peppermint leaves are combined with our own garden mint that has literally gone 'wild'.

                                                                                                                                   BUY

Sunday Roast 100g

Made with whole black tea, roasted barley and wattleseed, ginger, cinnamon and cloves, this is a warmly spiced blend just begging for a picnic blanket or an open fire. It's our nod to all the chai lovers while still keeping inspiration from the flavours of the Barossa front of mind. In fact the blend began after tasting the beautifully roasted wattleseed at our local Farmer's Market, from a farm just up the road. It's the kind of chai farmers would drink if farmers ever did drink chai.

                                                                                                                                   BUY

Barossa Valley Destination Scroll Tea Towel

These tea towels are hand silk screened onto 100% linen and reference the most iconic town names of the Barossa Valley. A limited edition release of 500, each tea towel is individually numbered. We think they’re the perfect momento of a fabulous trip to the Valley, or a great gift for any wine buff who would happily recognise the individual wine growing regions.

                                                                                                                                   BUY

Barossa Bushgardens 100g

Made with whole black tea, lemon scented grass, quandongs and muntries, this blend has been put together to celebrate the amazing work The Barossa Bushgardens are doing to preserve the local flora that the Valley has, at one time nurtured, and more recently, nearly lost. The fresh citrus of lemon scented grass with the lovely plum-tart flavours of muntries and quandong in this blend takes the billy into high tea territory, but never too posh for a bonfire we can assure you.

                                                                                                                                   BUY

Clubhouse Lane 100g

Made with a beautiful rooibos-like tea called honeybush, along with orange zest,  cinnamon, cloves and calendula petals, this blend straddles the magical worlds of being completely caffeine free but still happy to have milk added.  Dreamt up as a signature blend for its lovely namesake cafe on Clubhouse Lane, this is the tea for rooibos devotees who are up for a little nod to the sweetness of caramelised honey to hold hands with the health benefits of warming spices. We think it’s kind of like a honey mead meets creme caramel - in a completely vegan way. You know.

                                                                                                                                   BUY

Alabaster 100g

Made with the leaves that deliver the world’s highest antioxidant levels - white tea - in fact, White Peony to be exact, this blend is as indulgent as it is good for you. Which makes sense when you find out it was created as an exclusive signature blend for the beautiful store that bears its name. What else but white tea for Alabaster right? To this amazing whole leaf we’ve added mandarin, ginger and lavender to really show off the spicy sweetness that good white tea is renowned for. Sip in the pureness of white. Ommm my.

                                                                                                                                   BUY

Beekeeper’s Breakfast 100g

The brilliance in being part of the Barossa Farmer’s Market is not just to share our own wares but also to have direct access to fellow small producers and their handcrafted goodies. One such producer is ‘Buzz’. He knows everything there is to know about honey and we love nothing more than learning all we can from him about his amazing craft. Because, put simply, we think bees are amazing. So here’s cheers to Buzz and all he does; a brew of black tea leaves soaked in raw honey, with bee pollen, calendula, apple and ginger. A tea fit for a beekeeper’s breakfast.

                                                                                                                                   BUY

Nosh 100g

Another signature blend for its namesake cafe - Nosh is a local icon.  And with a name like that you can imagine that a tea to match has to come up with the flavour goods. The kind of tea you could drink an entire pot of all to yourself. With organic rooibus, vanilla beans and a nod to the carob tree lined street that Nosh sits on, with chunky carob pieces, this tea is completely caffeine free, but can still have milk added. It's great iced too.  A little something to suit every taste. If you've ever visited the Tanunda cafe with its vintage chairs and mixed matched plates you'll know what we mean. It's a local thing. That's Nosh.                                            BUY

Limited Edition Fowlers Jar Tea Collection

It only took 2 years and much pleading to make this happen, and my fear is it may not last for very long! These fowler’s tea jars are the thing everyone asks about and so finally, finally I have managed to wangle enough Nannas to share their extra preserving jars, so we can offer our very first limited edition tea collection with authentic country wear. Rustic but never rusty. The 3 favourites all in a row. Barossa Breakfast, The Orange Earl and Rainwater Mint (the equivalent of approximately 6 bags of tea). Just begging for a butler’s pantry!
